This is a really sad story, but it's true. An Avril fan jumped off a building and lost his life because he couldn't go to the Avril concert in Argentina

Avril Lavigne's songs resonated last night at the home of the Cucho-Mendoza
family, and as many other nights, the music came from
Angel Abelardo's room. Only that this time it was not the 19
year old who was playing his favorite tunes. His brothers did
it, to accompany Angel's wake, one of the Canadian singer's
greatest fans, so much that he preferred to take his own life
before failing to accomplish his most cherished dream: to be in
front of her in one of the concerts of her actual world tour.

In his room, now empty, the walls covered with posters of the
singer were witnesses of the young man's admiration for her and
the great anguish that overcame him as the days passed by and he
couldn't raise the money for the trip to Argentina, where Avril
Lavigne will have a concert on Sept. 18.

With a lot of effort, Angel Cucho could earn the money to buy
the concert ticket, and he sent it to an Argentinian friend
called Gerardo, who he met on the Internet. A few days ago,
this friend confirmed to him that he had bought the ticket.
Nevertheless, he couldn't get the $800 for the trip.

Mr. Salustiano Cucho Mamani, the victim's father, couldn't find
an explanation about the fatal decision of the youngest of his 4 sons.
Mr. Salustiano worked delivering bread in the area next to the
building, while Juan Carlos, his eldest son, delivers newspapers
in the same area. It was him who found his brother's body.

"My son was a very calm kid, hard worker, humble, and without
any vice. He didn't mess up with anyone", he said.

Juan Carlos said that he hopes that the singer hears about what
his brother did for her. Little Roxana (12), adoptive daughter
of the Cucho-Mendoza's, cried uncontrollably over the coffin.
